We got a call from Children's Hospital Surgery. Parker's surgery is scheduled for March 15th. They said it would be at least a 3 hour surgery. He will check in at 11am that morning. He will recover in the hospital at least that entire week and then depending on the cell type they will set up his chemo and radiation therapy. His oncologist also called and he will start chemo and radiation the following week.
He is doing good and happy to go home for a while. His doctor gave him a prescription to have fun, ride his bike, and do what a Spider Man does, be a super hero. We also must be careful to keep him healthy and not expose him to germs, colds, flu etc.
