Parker is getting a little more relief. He is resting now and doesn't have such labored breathing at this moment. Thank you God. His little body is just so tired just like he told me early this morning, "Mommy I am just so tired." I can only imagine.
He has been up out of bed twice today. The first was to sit on my lap on the chair which lasted about 10 minutes and the second he sat in my lap on his bed which lasted less than 10 minutes but he got a pretty good cry. Seems mean but helps to clear his lungs. Dr Bealer wants him up 3 times today. They really need to get a weight on him since he is so puffed up. His eyelids are even swollen. I told him he just needs green skin and he would look like the Hulk.
Thanks Jamos (Jamie McCue) for the teddy bear and balloon. The teddy bear says 7 different get-well messages and sounds like his cousin Gabrielle's voice so he perks right up and listens. Pretty cute.
His blood pressure is running high d/t all the fluid and of course since his kidneys haven't totally responded yet. They are watching this close too.
Neil is bringing Logynn and we will trade for a while. Parker has been asking about his Daddy and is ready for some time with him. Aunt Sharon, Uncle Shayne and Aly took Karsyn to the mall. Little turkey getting pretty spoiled.
He is still in the PICU but will hopefully get to move to the floor soon. Precious little punkin!! Just love him so much!!
with love,
neil and amy

My heart aches for little Parker and for you all as you are so close and I am sure feeling quite helpless. Know that there are many praying for Lil' Spidey or Hulk which ever he is at the moment to come home and have fun as a three year old should. Love you all sooooooooooomuch--most as the boys would say. Give them and Logynn hugs and kisses from Granma Wicky and all their Wyoming families!!
(((HUGS)))the PICU at Children's is the BEST ! ! ! You all are in good hands and honestly I think the longer you can be in PICU the better it will be for Parker. I just saw how AWESOME they were in that department so maybe GOD is saying don't rush being on the floor because you have the BEST possible care. My niece spent 10-12 days there in PICU--tremendous care. Amy, thanks for the posts. I havwe been reading them daily. May God wrap you and your family up with the gentle caring hands that are offered so your little one can be free of the pain. Take Care Amy and Family. HUGS and Prayers coming your way!! Rhonda
